Great Times in Italy

Sometimes one must take a vacation from their vacation. That is exactly what I did and headed down to Italy for a week. I actually have not visited the main land of Italy, just a little island next to Sicily named Sardinia. You can see exactly where I was on the map below.

We flew into Aleghro which is on the north eastern side of the island. We were very close to the capital of Sardinia, which has my favorite Italian name ever, Sassari. If you say it quickly it sounds like "So Sorry". It is really the extend of my Italian.

It was a very interesting adventure to where I traveled on "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" to get to my destination. Oh yeah, we also took a bus. That really was not very appealing. Anyways, here are some pictures of my trip to Sardinia.

Day One:
(The first day we got Italy in the Afternoon)

Day Two:
(We went to the Beach)

Day Three:
(Boat Trip along the coast of Sardinia)

(Similar to the size of boat we were on for the day)

(Rock that looks like a skull)

(We got to steer the boat for a bit)

(The rock below has a profile of a person on the right hand side)

(The Captain of the boat made us a fantastic seafood pasta lunch with wine)

(Fun in the sun in our own private cove)

Day Four:
(On the Beach again)

Day Five:
(A day on the 125cc scooters, just mobbing around Sassari and the coast)

Hope you enjoyed Italy as much as I did...
